My research area is the developement of a software developement process for monitors in the area of secure embedded systems. I am involved in Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt (CASED) at the subproject Secure Things.

Another Topic I am involved in, is the generation of JMI compatible tool adapters from MOF-Metamodels. Therefore the metamodel of the datastructure is modeled and with aid of MOFLON adapter code is generated automatically. The developer of the adapter only has to implement the access to the interfaces of the tools API that should be adapted.
