The mechanical part of our automobile model is a radio controlled (RC) car model from kyosho.

This car has an all-wheel powertrain and a mechanical brake.

Here you can see the naked chassis without any actuators.

As we want to use the model indoor, we can not use a combustion engine.

So we use a direct current motor that is typical for RC cars.

Two separated servo motors are used to move the steering axle and the mechanical brake.
