The research activities of the Real-Time System Lab are centered around the idea of model-driven software engineering.
Already finished and still running research projects sponsored by the European Union, national institutions, and industrial partners are organized in 8 clusters shown in the following diagram. Clusters 1 to 3 are dedicated to the development of fundamental technologies, whereas all other clusters make use of these basic technologies. They are related to the development of languages, tools, and methods for specific software engineering activities and/or specific application domains.
